The Skinner Strong Open is held every year in honor of Joe Skinner a former standout baseball player from the state of Florida who battled with a rare form of leukemia and tragically passed away in 2016. All proceeds from this event will be donated directly to the "Skinner Strong Foundation" which is still run by Joe's Mother, Father, and Sister Molly to help assist in the fight against leukemia. The purpose and meaning of this event has attracted some of the best organizations in the state of Florida over the last two years. The Skinner Strong Open will be played at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches (Astros and Nationals ST Complex and Roger Dean Complex (Marlins and Cardinals ST complex). #SkinnerStrong

Prospect Select Opens will not require an approval process for team registration and will be open to all levels of teams.  For Open events to be the most enjoyable experience possible, we will limit the number of teams in Opens to keep traveling to a minimum.  Opens will be geared toward organizations that may not want to travel nationally and want to experience all that Prospect Select tournaments have to offer.

REFUND POLICY:

Once a registration fee is paid for an event, no cash, check, or credit card refunds will be issued for any reason whatsoever. If an event is canceled due to weather or any other reason beyond the control of Prospect Select Baseball, a credit for the original paid amount can be applied.  Prospect Select will hold credit to a future event if notice of the team cancellation is given at least 3 weeks prior.  This credit will only be valid and applicable towards another Prospect Select Baseball event within 12 months of the original event.

NOTE: Most hotel booking deadlines are 2 weeks prior to the tournament. After this time, team room blocks will no longer be available. Reservations cannot be made using redeemed reward points, brand or chain loyalty discounts, or other promotional rates such as AAA or government discounts. Hotels cannot be contacted directly to make reservations or room blocks.
